PDF — merge several by adding more than one
Scanners produce pages nobody asked for
Feed a stack through a document scanner with duplex on and you get the back of every sheet, whether or not anything is printed on it. A ten-page contract arrives as twenty, with every other page blank. Office multifunction devices add a cover sheet. Fax gateways add a header page. None of it belongs in the file you send on.
Thumbnails are what make this quick: blank pages are obvious at a glance and awkward to find by page number. Select them, delete, export.
Deleting a page and hiding something on a page are different jobs
This is worth being precise about, because getting it wrong is how documents leak. Deleting a page removes it from the exported file — the content is not carried over, so it cannot be recovered from what you send.
But if what you want gone is on a page you need to keep, deleting will not help and a black rectangle is worse than nothing. In most PDF editors that rectangle is simply drawn on top: the text underneath survives in the file and can be selected, copied, or pulled out with any extraction tool. Every few years a government or a law firm publishes a document that was redacted that way, and the press copies the text straight out.
For content inside a page, use a tool that actually removes it. Redact PDF deletes the underlying text rather than covering it, then re-reads the result to confirm it is gone.
Nothing is uploaded, which matters here
A page you want to delete is, by definition, a page you would rather not circulate. Uploading the document to a server to remove it is a strange way to achieve that. Here the file is opened by your browser and never leaves the device.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I delete a page from a PDF without Acrobat?
- Open the file in the tool above, click the page you want removed, delete it and export. No subscription, no account, and no install.
- How do I remove blank pages from a scanned PDF?
- Scan with duplex on and every other page is likely blank. The thumbnail view makes them obvious — select the empty ones, delete them together, and export the rest as a new file.
- Does deleting a page remove its content from the file?
- Yes. A deleted page is not carried into the exported PDF, so its content is not recoverable from the file you send. That is different from covering something with a black box, which leaves the original text in place underneath.
- Can I delete several pages at once?
- Yes. Select as many pages as you want and remove them in one action, which is the usual case with scanner blanks.
- Can I undo a delete?
- Your original file is never modified — the tool builds a new PDF and leaves the one on your disk untouched. If you remove the wrong page, re-open the original and start again.
- Is my document uploaded to delete a page?
- No. It is opened by your browser and the new file is built on your device. Nothing is transmitted at any point.
