ImmiAccount is the Department of Home Affairs portal for attaching documents to a visa application. It publishes a file limit rather than a photo specification: each attachment can be up to 5 MB, in one of fifteen listed formats, and compressed files or encrypted PDFs cannot be accepted. There is no digital passport-photo pixel specification for visa applications on the pages we read.
Citizenship applications are the exception with a photo rule, and Home Affairs' own pages disagree: the citizenship photo-requirements page says a digital JPEG between 70 KB and 3.5 MB with a preferred resolution of 1200 × 1600 pixels, while the ImmiAccount help text asks applicants to keep the scanned photograph attachment to 500 KB.
