Frequently asked questions

What formatting is preserved?
ExactPic preserves common cell formatting: bold/italic/underline, text color, fills, borders, alignment, wraps, merges, and column widths where available. Empty rows in a bloated sheet range are skipped.
Does this match Excel’s Print / PDF export?
No. Charts as Excel chart objects, pivot layouts, themes, and full print fidelity are not reproduced. Embedded pictures are added best-effort when present as image files inside the workbook.
Are formulas recalculated?
Cached results from the file are preferred. When a result is missing, common formulas are recalculated in your browser (HyperFormula). Some Excel-only functions may still be blank.
Unicode and right-to-left text?
Unicode fonts (regular and bold) are embedded for LTR scripts. Right-to-left layout may not order correctly.
Are files uploaded?
No. Your files never leave your device
